The March ’06 SEED team was especially exciting to me this time, as 8 of the team members have roots in Francesville and are related to me. Bob & Sue Beebe headed up the team that consisted of: Wendell Gudeman, his sons Dan & Randy, his grandsons Garrison, & Luke; Doug Leman and his sons Alex & Tom.

We had the opportunity to do some jobs around the SEED complex, such as painting, canning, concrete work, and built some steel bars for securing the windows. We even took a boat trip out to the island to visit some of the gardens SEED got started. We saw God’s mighty hand at work when our boat ran out of gas on the return trip. We had just passed a sailboat 30 seconds before we ran out, so he towed us back to Les Cayes. God’s timing is perfect.
