Good morning dear praying friends. Just a quick update to let you know Brett's surgery went fine and we were able to bring him home on Tuesday. It was great to not have to stay overnight. He is on tylenol with codine and antibiotics and seems to be handling the pain well. He sleeps a lot, which is good for him. You will notice in the picture that his tube is running up his nose. This is to give his cheeks a break from the facial tape, since his cheeks were beginning to react to the clear dressings. We will get a bigger update on the website, www.hoosiersinhaiti.com, before the weekend. Thanks for all the prayers, email encouragements, and love shown to us and Brett. We truly don't know what we would do without you all.
