Hello everyone...Just a quick update on Brett.

Brett pretty much slept for 2 1/2 days, waking up yesterday(Tues) around 4pm. He slept on and off till bedtime and then had a restful night of sleep. At 7:00 am Jan took him to the clinic to get a sample of spinal fluid, since we wanted to rule out spinal meningitis. He took the "fluid" to Bon Fin Hospital about 1 hour away by bike. The test came back negative, for which we were thankful. Today Brett has been having longer awake times, and thankfully he is feeling well. His right side remains limp, although we've seen him move both arm and leg. The left-side seems to be functioning normally. We've even seen a couple of smiles. Brett continues to have a low-grade fever and we are watching a slight rash that appeared Monday evening. He is suppose to finish the anti-biotics tomorrow, but we may need to extend them. We are holding up by God's grace. It is good to see Brett acting more like himself. Thanks for all your emails and prayers.
